The Brain and the Power of Communal Singing

Welcome to the website for The Brain and the Power of Communal Singing.

On this site you will find research files on the subject of communal singing and the physiological, sociological, and psychological benefits to the brain and the human condition.

One of the primary goals of this site is to provide a platform for a virtual asynchronous international symposium on research performed across the world, regarding the prospective rehabilitative and restorative powers of communal singing, within multiple medical and public health disciplines.

By amalgamating the many research projects from around the world, the sum of the parts is far greater than any of the individual studies by themselves. This site seeks to encourage new research. and present gravitas to medical and public health practitioners that communal singing has the potential to bring relief and better living conditions to millions of individuals.

Each research project presented will have its own sub–platform, so future researchers can engage in direct dialogue with the authors and build upon the work of each published study.

As more and more individuals read the materials contained in The Brain and the Power of Communal Singing, and the viral impact of social media connecting groups of interested parties exponentially, inquiry and further research will yield benefits to increasing numbers of medical disciplines.
